Q: Do you charge for consultations?

A: Consultations are offered free of charge, however a $100 deposit will be taken for each appointment scheduled during the consultation. (Deposits come off the cost of the tattoo when each session is completed.)

Q: What should I do to prepare for my tattoo appointment?

A: Drink plenty of water and try to get good sleep on the days leading up to the appointment. The day of the appointment, eat a hearty meal about an hour before you come in, wear comfy clothing that you don’t mind getting stained, and don’t forget to bring your id. You may also bring any items to make yourself comfortable (ex. snacks, headphones, books, a clean blanket) as well as up to one friend.

Q: How do I care for my tattoo?

A: Remove the bandage after 2-3 hours. Do not re-bandage. Immediately wash your tattoo with a clear liquid antibacterial hand soap and clean hands. Do not use washcloths or paper towels. Let air dry for 10-15 minutes before applying a very thin layer of Redemption Tattoo Aftercare with clean fingers (or Lubriderm in case of allergy or as directed by artist). Repeat the wash and aftercare balm 3x/day until all peeling and flaking has finished, then repeat the process once a day until skin has returned to normal texture and sheen.
